A tellurium-substituted Lindqvist-type polyoxoniobate showing high H2 evolution catalyzed by tellurium nanowires via photodecomposition

A newly synthesized Lindqvist-type [H2TeNb5O19]5- exhibits a high H2-evolution activity under Xe-lamp irradiation, which is suggestive of cocatalysis by hexaniobate ions and metallic tellurium nanowires, both of which are formed as photodecomposition products.
