A novel enantiopure zinc complex supported by an aminophenolate ligand with multiple stereogenic centers has been diastereoselectively synthesized, which displays excellent isoselectivity in the ring-opening polymerization of rac-lactide to afford stereoblock polylactides with high melting point.
